Kohler 2 Piece Toilet

With it being something, we use every day, selecting the right toilet is important and can enhance your quality of life.

When making the purchase it’s important to consider the GPF’s, brand, type (wall-hung, close-coupled, one/two-piece, etc.), the type of seat (elongated/round), and more.

In this post, we’ll discuss the height of the toilet to get you started.

Standard Height Toilets

A standard height toilet is 15 to 16 inches from the floor to the top of the seat.

Standard height toilets are a better option for families with kids. If you’re a on the shorter side, they also make more sense.

Comfort Height Toilets

A comfort height toilet, also referred to as chair or right height, is 17 to 19 inches from the floor to the top of the seat.

Comfort toilets are great for those who are getting older and have a hard time getting off of the toilet, as they can make it significantly easier. They’re also great for tall people.

These toilets are also ADA height.
